Guidelines
This is a community dedicated to the adorable, inquisitive and charismatic breed of Japanese Spitz dogs. Whether you're a proud owner, an enthusiast or simply curious about these fluffy companions, you've come to the right place.
Whilst visiting and participating with this community, there are some guidelines we have set in place to make the place a comfortable place for everyone.
Do respect each other. We're all together in this community to create a welcoming and positive environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required and best of all, it's free!
Do respect everyone's privacy. Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make communities great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared between people in a private manner should stay that way and not be posted for the public eye. Under no circumstances are you to share any personal information about other members. It's fine if you are okay with sharing certain things about yourself, but never assume it's okay to leak information about others that you may know.
Do think before you post. Is your comment going to cause conflict or upset someone? If your answer is yes, refrain from posting it and try again. This is a very diverse community with people from all walks of life, so please keep that in mind when you are posting.
Do post in English (to the best of your ability). The community cannot be moderated if we don't understand what is being said. Google Translate or any other translation software can be taken advantage of.
Do not start, provoke or support hate speech and bullying. Any abusive language or hate speech is not tolerated, regardless of your intentions. If you don't like something that has been posted, report and ignore it. Instead of drilling someone about how silly an opinion may be or how expensive a service or product is, provide feedback constructively. Bullying of any kind is not allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. If you are concerned about a post or comment, please report it and we will deal with it accordingly.
Do not organise, promote or engage in any illegal behaviour, such as the buying, selling or trading of dangerous and regulated goods (this includes the sale of live animals). If you are a breeder, please get in touch with us directly.
Do not send unsolicited bulk posts or private messages (or spam) to others. Also, do not facilitate this activity, such as by selling spambots, account-creation tools, token generators, CAPTCHA-solving services or other spam tools.
Do not evade permanent enforcement actions. This includes creating new or using existing accounts after being removed for violating these guidelines or any other community rules.
Privacy and Safety
To elaborate on respecting everyone's privacy: you must also ensure that you have all the necessary rights in order to upload, publish or monetise the content prior to posting it on this community. Your content may not infringe any other third-party rights, including trademark rights and privacy rights.
If you include any stock footage, images or any other form of copyrighted material in your posts, you must have all the appropriate rights, as well as proof of those rights.
If your content is flagged for any form of copyright infringement, trade infringement or is in violation of privacy laws, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to prove your rights of usage. If you fail to comply with the request made by us or fail to prove your rights of usage, your content will be removed from the Japanese Spitz Australia community.
Enforcement
As a privately owned and operated site, we reserve the right to moderate the community in whatever manner we choose. In addition to member reports, we leverage automated tools from the software we use to detect content that may violate these guidelines. Each incident is examined on a case-by-case scenario. Breaking any rules may result in that content being removed, and you risk being suspended, banned, your content moderated or being permanently removed from the community altogether.
Contact Us
If you need to contact us for any reason, please do not hesitate to press the `Contact Us` link at the bottom of every page. Fill in the form with as much detail as you can, and we'll be sure to follow things up. All contact with us is private.
That's it! Together we can make this a safe, engaging and inclusive community for all members. If you have any suggestions or would like to see these guidelines updated with something we have missed, please let us know.
